Refund Policy

Effective 2026-10-08

Who you bought from

Payments for an album are processed by Paddle, who acts as merchant of record. That means your purchase is a purchase from Paddle, and Paddle handles the billing, any applicable taxes, your receipt, and the refund itself. When a refund is approved, Paddle returns the money on the same card or payment method you used. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to the transaction.

Our policy

If you ask within 14 days of payment and the album has not been used yet, meaning no photos or videos have been uploaded to it, we will refund the full amount. Ask by email and it is done, no reason needed.

If photos or videos have already been uploaded, or more than 14 days have passed, please contact us with what happened. We review these requests individually and make a decision in good faith.

How to ask

Email [email protected] from the address you bought with, and include the order reference from your receipt. Do not send card details, we never see them and do not need them.

You can also contact Paddle directly about a payment, including asking them to look at a refund you have already raised with us, at paddle.net. As merchant of record they are able to act on a payment whether or not we agree with you, and nothing in this policy is meant to stand in the way of that.

What happens to the album

A confirmed full refund removes paid access, including original downloads and paid features. Download anything you want to keep before requesting a refund. A pending or rejected refund request, or a partial refund, does not itself remove paid access.

The shorter unpaid retention period is 60 days, counted from the same starting point as the original storage period, not from the refund date. That starting point is the later of album creation and midnight on the event date in the event timezone. Without a valid event date it is album creation; older albums without a saved timezone use the server's local timezone. If this deadline has already passed, the album is due for automatic cleanup when the refund is confirmed. There is no new download or holding period after a refund. An album originally created on the free plan returns to that plan's retention period instead. Cleanup permanently removes files.

Disputes and chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please contact us. A confirmed chargeback removes paid access and applies the same retention rules described above.

Your rights by law

Nothing in this policy takes away a right you have under consumer protection law where you live, including any statutory cooling-off period. Where the law gives you a longer period than this policy, the law wins. Canadian consumer protection law applies, and buyers in some other countries have additional rights that we honour.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above. A change never applies backwards to a purchase you have already made.
